Whiplash – Working Title Brewing
REVIEW
So, what better way to celebrate the end of the working week than with a brew from my favourite beer geeks! Working Title Brewing Co. smash another one out of the park with this big, malty, chewy delicious yet still fruity Triple Red IPA. It’ll make you double take so hard you’ll get Whiplash!
What they say: Our second shot at a massive Red and we’ve made a few tweaks.
With Bru-1, Strata, Simcoe and Azacca on the hot side, a dip hop with Mosaic LUPO and a dry hop with Citra, Bru-1, Strata, Simcoe and Azacca. The malts see Gladfield caramalts meet Voyager toasted malts in a harmony of carbohydrate complexity.
It’s layered with complex white stone-fruits of lychee, white peach and gooseberry, tropical notes of pineapple, banana and mango, and lemon citrus with dank pine.
Malt flavours of gram crackers, caramel biscuits, burnt toffee and dark chocolate all meet in the middle for a proper flavour explosion.
11% ABV 65 IBU
Glassware: Suds Slinger Pub Glass
What I say: You crack this can and the crowd goes wild. Absolutely gorgeous! The balance between big malty chewy goodness and fruity hoppy dank bitterness is just perfect. A beautiful dark shade of red and an aroma to die for. Love it, love it, love it!
I bought this one so I’ll just thank Working Title for general awesomeness! Keep it up
But what would I know? I’m just a guy that loves great beer!
