Choco Brown Beer Shake – Mornington Peninsula Brewery

REVIEW:

Its Day #8 of the Beer Cartel Advent Calendar and today we move to the Mornington Penisula! I’m loving the opportunity to try another dark choc beer, so let’s Choco Brown Beer Shake things up with Mornington Peninsula Brewery!

What they say: Brewed with milk sugar, vanilla and cocoa, this indulgent brown ale is all about sensory pleasure and taking it slow. Bold aromas of vanilla and dried fruit, followed by flavors of chocolate, brown sugar and caramel with a distinctive sweet finish and a creamy texture.

What I say: This one poured dark with a nice head that dissipated quite quickly. The Brew Wifey and I both didn’t pick up much aroma, but there is plenty of chocolate in the taste, especially as I let it warm a little. It is most definitely creamy and smooth. Quite an enjoyable brown ale. Yum!

But what would I know? I’m just a guy that loves great beer 😊🍺
