DDH Pale Motueka Citra – Range Brewing

REVIEW:

My good friend Dan (@shakesbeers_brewtopia on Instagram) is a massive fan of Range Brewing and I must admit… now, so am I! We both attended a tap takeover at the Union Hotel Newtown a few weeks back and now I can’t get enough of their delicious hazy beers and zingy sours! I had to grab this little beauty from the bottle shop as I left.

So let’s acknowledge the pink elephant in the room and sink this big juicy hazy DDH Pale Motueka Citra!

What they say: A hazy, juicy pale ale. Double dry hopped with Motueka and Citra. Far from traditional.

What I say: It’s nice and orange with haze for days. It’s big on the nose with tropical fruits and the taste of citrus, mango, passionfruit and perhaps a little apricot. So smooth, kinda like apricot juice, with a lovely mouthfeel. Next to no bitterness, it’s sweet and delicious! I’m so glad me and the boys chipped in to get a mixed 4-pack of the latest cans from these guys… bliss!

But what would I know? I’m just a guy that loves great beer 😊🍺
